Panaji: Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankar will be on three-day-long visit to Goa from Tuesday onwards.
State government official said that the Vice President will arrive at International Airport, Dabolim in South Goa on May 20 (tomorrow) at 2 pm after which he will be heading to Raj Bhavan at Dona Paula.
On May 21, the Vice President will visit Mormugao Port and interact with senior management and staff at Vasco town in South Goa.
At the same time, he will also meet Senior Indian Coast Guard officers onboard a coast guard ship.
On May 22, Dhankar will commission the statues of ‘Charaka – Father of Ayurveda’ and ‘Sushruta – Father of Surgery’ at Raj Bhavan, Goa.
Afterwards, he will be visiting Indian Centre for Agricultural Research (ICAR) Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute at Old Goa.
During his visit there, he will interact with farmers and scientists at ICAR-CCARI, Goa.
Official said that on May 22, Dhankar will fly back to New Delhi.
