Panaji : Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has announced subsidy on power. “In view of the hardships faced by consumers and businesses owing to the Covid19 Pandemic, Govt of Goa has decided to give a power subsidy of Rs 120 crores for the year 2021-22,” said Sawant.

Earlier AAP Goa had promised that if they come to power they would give three hundred units electricity free while Sawant’s government has approved 120 crore on wednesday to avoid hike in power tariffs.

“While some political vultures have rushed to claim credit, they have conveniently forgotten that the same subsidy to the tune of Rs 88 crores was given last year too. The Goa model of Governance puts people first. As for the noise makers, let me remind them, actions speak louder than words,’ saud Sawant.
