Panjim, June 26: The Goa Forward Party (GFP) announced a robust and ambitious statewide outreach programme titled “Amcho Awaaz Vijai”, aimed at collecting public grievances and taking them up in the upcoming monsoon session of the Goa Legislative Assembly. The announcement was made at a press conference by party leaders Durgadas Kamat, Mohandas Lolienkar, and Deepak Kalangutkar.

Addressing the media, GFP General Secretary(Organisation) Durgadas Kamat said, “Our leader and President Vijai Sardesai had promised on his birthday that he would personally reach out to people across the state , from Pernem to Canacona , and listen to their issues. We have structured this outreach in two phases.”

Kamat urged Goans to actively participate in the democratic process by sending in their grievances and suggestions to the email ID publicsuggestions@goaforward.in by 10th July, so they can be raised effectively in the Assembly. “Every revolution begins with a conversation. There is a growing list of public grievances across Goa due to the administrative failures of the government be it power and water shortages, pothole-ridden roads, unemployment, crumbling schools, or lack of basic healthcare facilities. Vijai Sardesai will expose the government’s failures and present constructive alternatives,” Kamat stated.

North Goa District President Deepak Kalangutkar, who has been actively coordinating with citizens at the grassroots, emphasized the scale of public discontent. “We receive dozens of complaints from every taluka. ‘Amcho Awaaz Vijai’ is our mission to amplify these voices in the Assembly. The campaign will kick off on 29th June at Bhagwati Hall, Pernem, followed by Mapusa Residency on 30th June for Bardez. On 2nd July, we will cover Tiswadi at the GFP office in Panjim, and Bicholim and Sattari on 3rd July at Z Square Hall, Bicholim,” he detailed.

Mohandas Lolienkar highlighted that this is not the party’s first such exercise. “Last year, we visited several talukas and followed up on many issues raised by the people. There is a deep erosion of trust in the government, and people believe Vijai Sardesai is the only voice consistently speaking up for them in the Assembly,” he said.

He announced the rest of the outreach calendar, which includes Vasco on 4th July at Z Square Hall, Canacona on 6th July at the Goa Forward office in Chaudi, Dharbandora and Quepem on 7th July at ESM Galaxy in Curchorem, Ponda on 9th July at Vithoba Temple Hall, Sanguem on 10th July at the Municipal Hall, and finally Salcete on 11th July at the Margao Municipal Hall.

“In Fatorda, people line up every Tuesday to meet Vijai Sardesai at his office. But now, we are taking that spirit across Goa. We will visit every taluka to listen and act,” Lolienkar affirmed.

The party reiterated its commitment to democratic dialogue and vowed to convert public frustration into legislative action through their MLA and leader, Vijai Sardesai.
