Around 100 plus daily wage labourers, who work in the forest, today met Chief Minister Pramod Sawant at Ravindra Sankhali to regularize in their service as they are struggling to make their ends meet. These daily wagers of the forest department are getting merely Rs 405 per day.
They had met the chief minister several times but nothing materialized. But this time, Sawant ensured that we will look into the matter.
These people have been working in the forest for the last 10 years.
