Panaji: Goa cabinet on Wednesday approved GST compensation for the movie ‘Kashmir Files’, which was announced to be tax-free by chief minister Pramod Sawant in March month.
Sawant chaired the cabinet meeting which decided to give compensation in GST for the movie. The chief minister said that the cabinet has given post facto approval for GST compensation for Kashmir Files movie.
Goa government on March 14 had announced to make Kashmir Files movie to be tax-free. After watching the movie along with his wife and BJP Goa President Sadanand Shet Tanavade, Sawant had said that the younger generation should know the history of 1990s.
