Panaji: Goa Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai has summoned the Budget session of State legislative assembly on February 2.
State Legislature Secretary Namrata Ulman has issued the order stating that the Governor has summoned the Legislative Assembly session of Goa to meet at Assembly Hall on February 02, 2024 at 11.3 am.
Goa chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant earlier last month had announced that the Assembly session would be held on February 2 onwards in which the state Budget would be presented.
Sawant had said that the duration of the session would be decided by the Business Advisory Committee of the Assembly.
He had said that the session will begin with the address by the Governor, as it is the first session of the year.
