Panaji: In a big boost to State’s medical education, the Goa Medical College (GMC) is identified by Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for setting up of e-classroom infrastructure.
GMC is one amongst the 50 medical colleges identified in the country for implementing the green field project on ehealth including Telemedicine on National Medical College Network (NMCN) for interlinking the Medical Colleges across the country with the purpose of e-Education and National Rural Telemedicine Network for e-Healthcare delivery.
State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane announced the development.
He said that GMC is one of the medical college taken up under the project for setting up e-classroom facilities.
