Porvorim: In a ghastly case of murder, a 30-year-old girl identified as Kamakshi (full name not known) was murdered allegedly by her former boyfriend and her body was dumped at Amboli ghat.
Police claimed that she was allegedly murdered after she refused to continue her relationship with the accused, Prakash Chunchwad, a 22-year-old man running garage at Porvorim.
Sources informed that the victim had filed case of assault against the accused at Mapusa police station, hours before she was murdered. Police had taken in writing from the accused that he would not interfere with her anymore.
