Panaji: Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) chairman Glenn Ticlo commenting on the gas leak which killed one labourer working in the factory said, “GIDC had already sent a letter to the factory to conduct an investigation for the gas leakage.”
“We had asked them to take precautions but unfortunately the gas has leaked and caused death of a labourer,” Ticlo added.
An ammonia gas leakage at Quality Foods fish processing unit in the Cuncolim Industrial Estate on friday had killed one 22-year-old labourer from Uttar Pradesh. While atleast two to four others have been admitten in Hospicio for treatment.
