Shiroda: Goa Forward Party leader Akbar Mulla has said that he would be interested in contesting Shiroda by-election if party President Vijai Sardesai tells him to do so.
Mulla took on to twitter to announce it. “If my party President and TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai tells me to contest then I would definitely contest the upcoming by-election for Shiroda Constituency,” he tweeted.
This would be the second alliance partner in BJP led coalition which has shown interest in fighting against party’s official candidate in Shiroda constituency.
MGP President Dipak Dhavalikar has already began campaigning in the constituency.
