Panaji: Goa Forward Party (GFP) vice-president Durgadas Kamat on behave of GFP condemned the attack on social activist and Progressive Front of Goa leader Adv Hrudaynath Shirodkar. Kamat also joined the protest held at Azad Maidan by Goa Forward Party joint secretary Santosh Kumar Sawant, GFP youth president Raj Malik, Jagdish Bhobe among others.
Alleging that the incident can be a conspiracy, Kamat said he has serious doubt that whether is was a planned attack on Shirodkar as he has been vocal against the government. Kamat also lamented the poor state of law and order in Goa.
Adv Hrudaynath Shirodkar was assaulted while attending a public meeting in Kapshe, Shiroda on Sunday.
Social Workers are the Real Heroes! There must be a Campaign to inform the people that the real heroes are the Social Workers and not the Actors. We are depend on the Social Workers whereas Actors are depend on us. Pictures of Social Workers must stick in homes wall and other public places instead of pictures of Actors. Posters of Social Workers must sell in book stalls instead of Actors. Social Workers must be invited to attend any Cultural Functions. Social Workers must be invited for inauguration of any Shops, Restaurants, etc. Social Workers are the Real Heroes!
