Panaji: Goa Bhandari Samaj (GBS) will elect its new Central committee on November 25.
The term of current central committee led by Anil Hoble ended on October 7.
Talking to reporters, GBS outgoing president Anil Hoble said that the 15-member central committee will be elected on November 25.
He said that the elections and counting will take place on same day at Institute Menezes Braganza hall in Panjim. “We have 3000-odd members eligible to vote,” Hoble said.
On November 12 and 13, the electoral roll will be out for scrutiny, Nominations will be accepted on November 14 and 15, while scrutiny will take place on November 16. The withdrawals, if any, will take place on November 17.
The committee will comprise of President, Vice President, General Secretary, Secretary and Joint Secretary, executive members and members. The committee will also include two co-opted members.
