Panaji: Goa Forward Party has said that the fate of Regional Plan should be decided on the floor of the House.
GFP Vice President Dilip Prabhudesai told a press conference that the regional plan was discussed in the state executive meeting yesterday.
“It was seen that RP2021 some small land holding which were settlement in RP 2001 are converted to non settlement, which is a gross injustice to many Goenkars, who were not been aware why land has been converted,” he said.
“Party is of the opinion that another amendment should be moved for case to case basis conversion and the entire process should be transparent. There was a proposal that amendment to the act should be done that TCP,” he said.
“This is a landmark proposal to that goan lands are preserved by offering transfer of development rights. The party also felt that the fate of RP should be decided on the floor of the House,” Prabhudesai added.
