Margao: Laxmi Narayan Trust has organized an exhibition cum sale of handmade decorative Diwali items which are made by the students with special needs. These items will be available to buy for consumers from November 6-7. “Those interested may visit the exhibition and buy these items to boost the morale of these children,” said founder of Laxmi Narayan Trust, Dr Nilesh Usgaokar.
The students are performing their school learning activities from home due to the Pandemic situation, the special needs students this year who are the students of Lokvishwas Pratishthan’s Day Care Centre at Ponda, along with the students of Keshav Sena Sadhana School, Valpoi, have made vivid Diwali items including lamps which are reasonably priced, they have created this under the supervision of their teachers and parents.
