Panaji: Distributing the portfolio for newly inducted minister Dipak Pawaskar, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant allotted him the department of State Public Works Department, which was earlier held by Sudin Dhavalikar.
The notification allotting portfolio of PWD and Museaum was issued on Thursday by Joint Secretary (General Administration) Varsha Naik.
Interestingly, PWD portfolio was earlier held by MGP MLA Sudin Dhavalikar, who was dropped from the cabinet on Wednesday by Chief minister.
Pawaskar was sworn in on Wednesday night by Governor Mridula Sinha, hours after he along with another legislator Manohar Ajogankar broke away from MGP and merged their unit into BJP.
