Margao: Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat has demanded immediate intervention of Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant to resolve the issue of Lifeguards in Goa.

Margao MLA Digambar Kamat reacting to reports of the local Goan Lifeguards who are on strike being declared out from service by M/s Drishti Lifesaving Pvt Ltd. and instructed to return their uniforms and not to enter the lifeguard towers tweeted:

My symapathy with Goan Lifeguards. I urge immediate intervention of @goacm @DrPramodPSawant to resolve the issue by taking all Lifeguards under Government ambit. Lives of tourist cant be put to risk any more.

Leader of Oppisition has expressed his full sympathy with the  hardworking Goan lifeguards. He has urged the Chief Minister to immediately take steps and include all the Lifeguards under Government ambit. He has further cautioned the Government not to risk the lives of the visiting tourists on the Goan beaches.
