Vasco: Amidst speculations that he might join BJP to be next CM, Congress leader Digambar Kamat left for Delhi.
At the airport, Kamat ruled out he quitting the party and instead claimed that he was “on a business trip to the national capital.”
“I am going to Delhi for my business trip,” he said.
Sources had confirmed that the BJP MLAs meeting which was held yesterday had discussed his name as probable CM candidate, in case Manohar Parrikar steps down.
His name had met with the opposition from some BJP leaders.
