Margao: Margao Municipal Council has decided to reward Rs 500 for each case of detection of garbage dumping.
MMC Chief Officer Siddhivinayak Naik who has been on the forefront to set things right in the municipality has introduced this scheme.
He said that the initiative will be taken in association with Police department. The person who is found dumping the garbage would be fined for whopping Rs 5,000.
