Panaji: Chief minister Pramod Sawant has said that the decision on the future of Sonsodo dump will be taken by Deputy CM Vijai Sardesai and he would be in sync with him.
Goa Solid Waste Management Corporation’s meeting held at Porvorim did not discuss the issue of Sonsodo. Sawant told reporters that the Sonsodo is under litigation as the possession of the area is with Fomento.
“Deputy Chief minister Vijai Sardesai is handling the problem. At present they have decided to give segregated garbage to the company. For time being, we have not taken any decision on Sonsodo,” he said.
“We are in consent with the Deputy chief minister as to what decision he is taking on Sonsodo,” he said.
