Panaji: BJP MLA Dayanand Sopte hit back at Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai calling him a dacoit (Lootaru). Sopte was responding to the statement by Sardesai who had called the former as “virus.”
Sardesai made the statement during induction of Deepak Kalangutkar into GFP.
“I warn Vijai Sardesai against making any statements on me. When he was Town and Country Planning Minister, he has looted people. He is lootaru,” the Mandrem MLA said.
He commented that Sardesai should not teach him the politics.
Speaking about Kalangutkar, Sopte claimed that the Kalangutkar won both the Zilla Panchayat terms with his support. He also questioned why Kalangutkar was “absent” during 2019 by-election when he fought on BJP ticket.
