Margao, 19th July 2026: Daivadnya Samaj, Margao felicitated students of Std X and Std XII from the Goa Board, CBSE, and ICSE boards at a function held on 19th July 2026 at Daivadnya Bhavan, Margao.
The programme was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries present.
Ramakant Raikar, President of Daivadnya Samaj, Margao, welcomed the dignitaries on the dais, students, and parents. In his address, he highlighted the importance of education in one’s life and urged parents to support their children in achieving their goals.
Prof. Venkatesh Raikar, Director, KLE Hubballi, and former Vice-Chancellor of Sanjay Ghodawat University, who was the Chief Guest, encouraged students to pursue careers of their choice and to put in extra effort to clear entrance examinations and national-level competitive exams such as UPSC. He also advised parents to verify the credentials of universities and colleges before seeking admission.
All students from the community who secured more than 85 per cent in Std X were felicitated.

Yoganand Nagvenkar from Marcel was honoured with the Dnyaneshwari Puraskar. Dr. Swarali Bhaskar Verlekar, who recently completed MBBS, was also felicitated.
