Panaji: Total 508 new cases of COVID-19 infection was reported in Goa on Friday, taking the total tally to 19,863.
The health department official said that 386 people were recovered on Friday, after which 14747 people have been declared as recovered by the state government.
In all 2523 samples were tested, 1631 were negative, 508 were positive and 384 reports are awaited.
Eight people died on Friday taking the death toll to 220 in the coastal state.
