Panaji: Total 740 new cases of COVID-19 infection was reported in Goa on Saturday, taking the total tally to 24,185.
The health department official said that 511 people were recovered on Saturday, after which 18,576 people have been declared as recovered by the state government.
In all 2,963 samples were tested, 1,812 were negative, 740 were positive and 411 reports are awaited.
Ten people died on Saturday taking the death toll to 286 in the coastal state.
