Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 69 and reached 55,212 on Thursday, a health department official said.
The death toll touched 798 as two of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 53,775 with 38 of them getting discharged on Thursday. The number of active cases is now 639, the official said.
“With 1,565 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 4,99,371,” he added.
