Panaji: Total 590 new cases of COVID-19 infection was reported in Goa on Tuesday, taking the total tally to 29,343.
The health department official said that 736 people were recovered on Tuesday, after which 23,462 people have been declared as recovered by the state government.
In all 1,863 samples were tested of which 590 were tested positive, he said.
In all eight people died on Monday taking the death toll to 368 in the coastal state.
