Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 189 and reached 57,170 on Thursday , a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 822 as one of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 55,070 with 66 of them getting discharged on Thursday. The number of active cases is now 1278, the official said.
“With 2,190 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 5,32,970,” he added.
