Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 70 and reached 55,361 on Saturday , a health department official said.
The death toll remained 799 as none of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 53,862 with 45 of them getting discharged on Saturday. The number of active cases is now 700, the official said.
“With 1,531 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 5,02,509,” he added.
