COVID-19: 46 new cases, two deaths

Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 46 and reached 54,369 on Wednesday, a health department official said.

The death toll touched 786 as two of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.

The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 53,074 with 39 of them getting discharged on Wednesday. The number of active cases is now 509, the official said.

“With 1,625 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 4,76,682,” he added.
