Panaji: Goa Police have booked an offence against a renowned courier company and another man for forgery in delivering Coldplay concert tickets worth Rs 3.86 lakhs.
As per a complaint filed on Thursday with Colva police in South Goa by Dr. Ashley Fernandes, officials of a renowned courier firm delivered his ticket for the Coldplay concert in Mumbai to another person.
The complainant mentioned that Tushar Bansal wrongfully accepted the tickets worth Rs 3,86,217, which were delivered to him by the courier firm without any verification. Fernandes stated that he had booked the tickets through an online portal.
Police have booked an offence under Section 318 (4) of BNSS for cheating and dishonestly inducing the property of someone else against the officials of the courier firm and the accused who accepted them.
