Panaji: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Amit Patkar on Saturday said that his party has always been saying that this is completely “corrupt sarkar.”
He alleged that Gaude has been completely involved in corruption, even in the past. “We have been raising issues against Gaude. Now, the speaker himself has certified that there is corruption,” Patkar said.
The Congress Goa chief said that it is the responsibility of the chief minister Pramod Sawant and he should resign on moral ground.
“The Prime minister who will be in Goa on February 6, will also have to explain to the people about this corruption,”he added.
AAP Goa chief Amit Palekar said that Rs 26.85 lakh scam is huge. “His department has disbursed money for the events that never took place. Local MLA (Ramesh Tawadkar) was not knowing about all this,” he said.
Palekar said that everyone in BJP are all set to “loot Goa.”
