Panaji: Goa’s Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao on Thursday said that the state budget presented by CM Dr Pramod Sawant was “good for nothing.”
Reacting to the budget, Alemao said that “Big Announcement Zero Fulfillment” is the policy of BJP Government under Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant.
He said that Rs 26855.56 crore Budget for 2024-25 is an attempt to create a “Feel Good Factor” looking at upcoming Loksabha Elections. In reality, this Budget is “Good for Nothing”.
Alemao pointed out that Action Taken Report on Budget Annoucement 2023-2024 once again make BJP Government under Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant fail with only 27.9 per cent of the announcements Completed in the Fiscal Year.
“Out of 390 Announcements, 109 are Completed, 279 are Initiated and 2 Dropped,” he said.
