Panaji: Goa Forward Party leaders have appealed Congress spokesman Amarnath Panjikar to stop giving sermons to them about inclusion of Bhandari community in politics.
“Congress should not worry about us. In fact, they should think about themselves. We are in a party that has two Bhandari community representatives as MLAs and ministers,” said party leader Jayendra Govekar.
Party’s Joint Secretary Santosh Kumar Sawant said that no other party has leveraged its position to get benefits for its people in Goa’s history better than Goa Forward.
“Congress has only used and thrown people with only some exceptions like Girish Chodankar whose rise in the party is on account of his good will with the High Command,” said Sandeep Ghatwal, a GF leader.
