Panaji: Having just five MLAs in hand, Congress party has preferred to distance itself from playing any role in toppling the BJP led government in the State.
In a press statement issued, Congress President Girish Chodankar, however, predict that the Pramod Sawant led government will fall on it’s own.
“Toppling the BJP government, which was formed illegitimately, is our top priority. However, today our numbers are so insignificant that we don’t have much role to play in any government toppling game,” Chodankar said.
” Nonetheless, we are confident that this government will fall with it’s own weight of contradictions,” he added.
