Goa Pradesh Youth Congress President Joel Andrade sounded the poll bugle in South Goa, declaring that the Congress will win the seat with a 35K plus margin, on the sidelines of the State Executive Meeting of the Goa Pradesh Youth Committee, held at the South Goa District Office.
“Our campaign has already begun. We are focusing on strategic areas and will take the positive agenda of the Congress Party to the people. We have already launched the five guarantees to tackle unemployment. We will go to the people and are confident of winning their confidence,” Andrade said.
Andrade added,” Our guarantees have already received an excellent response from the people of Goa. The Bharti Bharosa ensures the creation of thirty lakh central government jobs with a transparent job calendar. The Pehli Naukri Paaki ensures that every graduate or diploma holder will be granted the Right to Apprenticeship for one year, with an annual remuneration of Rs one lakh. The No More Paper Leaks policy will ensure that the government implements strict laws against paper leaks and establish a foolproof process for conducting all government exams. Social security for gig workers will introduce a new law that provides social security for hardworking gig economy workers, and the Yuva Roshni will allocate a Rs 5000 crore corpus to empower aspiring start-up entrepreneurs at the district level.”
Vice President Kenishia Menezes said, “The safety of women is a major cause of concern, and we will bring this problem to the people’s attention and find a solution to tackle it.”
General Secretaries Ahraz Mulla, Leovita Andrade, Prasanjeet Dhage and former spokesperson Wilma Fernandes have taken charge of their respective clusters and will organise meetings with their respective blocks.
