Panaji: Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte made a sarcastic remark after the imprisonment of ex-minister Dilip Ray in the Jharkhand coal scam. Ray was awarded three years imprisonment over his involvement in the alleged irregularities in the allocation of a Jharkhand coal block in 1999.
Khaunte on Tuesday stated that the coal scam has claimed one wicket and the next one is from ‘Goa Coal Team’. The MLA also took a dig at chief minister Pramod Sawant and said that the CM is preparing a fresh ‘pitch’ for ‘Season 2’.
