Vasco: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday ruled out declaring entire area of Vasco as containment zone claiming that the infection is only restricted to Mangor Hill.
He said that all the infection is found only in Mangor Hill area, while there are no cases found outside it. Sawant said that extensive testing is being conducted in Mangor Hill area.
The chief minister said 100 per cent of the people from Mangor Hill area would be tested.
He said that right now, there is no possibility of complete lockdown of Vasco. He said that both the wards of MMC covering Mangor Hill has been sealed. No one has been allowed to move out from the area.

When Goa were in green Zone people are aggressive to come in our state. When 5 to 7 casses you sealed all boarder and totally lock down. I not understand the current (jhol) at Goa border have to pay 2k for entrance, does our state are in green zone, at current date 126 contaminated casess found, still rising it. My question is that why need to charge the money at border, when we are at high contaminated being small State…
