Porvorim: As Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant stood up to present the state budget at 3 p.m., the opposition benches rushed to the well of the House shouting ‘shame shame’ slogans.
Speaker Rajesh Patnekar urged the opposition benches to withdraw from the House which they refused to do.
The opposition members including Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat, GFP MLA Vijai Sardesai, MGP MLA Sudin Dhavalikar and others rushed to the House, who were later whisked away by the marshals.
