Panaji: Goa police on Friday are likely to take Suchana Seth, accused in killing of her four-year-old child, to the apartment where the alleged crime took place, a senior official said.
A senior police officer said that the investigating team from Calangute police station will take the accused to the service apartment on Friday to “recreate the scene of the crime.”
“This is part of the investigation. She is currently in police custody and we are interrogating her about the case,” he said.
Seth was arrested on Monday night at Chitradurga district in Karnataka while she was trying to flee after killing her four year old son in a service apartment at Candolim. The accused was found with the body stuffed in the bag.
Police said that recreation of the crime is required as a part of the investigation of the crime.
The postmortem conducted on the body of the child has revealed that he was killed by smothering.
Father of the child, Venkat Raman, who was in Jakarta arrived in Karnataka and has taken the body of his son.
