Panaji: CCP Mayor Uday Madkaikar today announced revised parking rates. Speaking about the parking issue in Panaji, Madkaikar said, “We have monthly passes for two wheelers and four wheelers. Those who want to travel by their personal vehicle daily can take advantage of this” Madkaikar also urged people to use local transport which will help the save money. “We won’t allow taxis from other states to park in reserved areas marked for state taxis” inferred Madkaikar.

Pay parking rates in Panaji city will be as follows: for four wheeler for first hour will be Rs.20, while for every additional hour Rs. 15

and monthly pass is priced at 1000 rupees. for two wheelers upto four hours Rs. 04 for parking and for four hours to twelve hours Rs. 08, more than 12 hours but less than 24 hours Rs. 15. Monthly pass for two wheeler is 175 rupees.
