Panaji: Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee President Pratima Coutinho has said that the cases filed against her for allegedly revealing identity of the minor molestation victim were “politically motivated.”
Coutinho was today summoned by Women Police Station and questioned for nearly two hours.
This is what she told reporters outside police station: Today I was summoned by women police to record statement, I have fully cooperated I have given my statement for two hours.
“My lawyer Yatish Naik accompanied me. I have full faith in judiciary and police. I would like to say that these cases which political outfits have put like BJP, Sanatan Sanstha, Shiv Sena and some NGOs are totally false, politically motivated and fabricated” she said.
Coutinho said that she will not stop working for the people of Goa. I will not be silenced. This is to suppress my voice I will keep working to give justice to the people of Goa.
