Panaji: The 7.7kms long Manohar Parrikar Canacona bypass, connecting Char Rasta with Polem, was inaugurated today.
Three bridges, namely one each over the Talpona (450 m), Galgibaga (500 m) and Mashem (130 m) rivers, are part of the bypass.
Union Minister for State Babul Supriyo, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Deputy Speaker Isidor Fernandes, Utpal Parrikar was part of the inaugural.
