Panaji: Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte has once again taken a dig at chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant over the water crisis in the state. Khaunte has exuded that of no action is taken by the government, he will go ahead with his forementioned protest against water crisis in Goa in January.
“My call for Jal Andolan in January seems to have woken up @DrPramodPSawant to the Water Crisis in Goa. Let’s wait & watch failing which I shall be forced to go ahead with Jal Andolan,” Khaunte tweeted.
Khaunte’s reaction comes a day after CM Sawant held a meeting with officials of PWD to take a comprehensive review of the water supply in the state. In a the meeting, the CM has directed the officals to take immediate measures to resolve issues related to supply and asked to submit action plan constituency wise.
