Panaji : ‘The Bardeskars – The Mystery of Migration’ , a research based book written by Alphie Monteiro which explores the brief history of Goa catholic settlers in Upper Ghats region, was published through virtual mode today (Saturday).
Bishop of Belgaum, Derek Fernandes, Bishop Allwyn Barreto of Sindhudurg and Bishop Thomas Dabre of Pune diocese released the book at 4 PM from the Bishop’s house situated at Belgaum, Karnataka.
Noted Writers and activists also appreciated the book and efforts of the author in releasing this book. Among the noted writers were Fr (Dr) Savio Barreto, Dr Michael Gonsalves, John Mendonca, Anthony Monteiro , Louis Rodrigues and Adv Peter D’Souza.
