BJP open for alliance with like-minded regional parties: Tanavade

Panaji: Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday said that they are open for alliance talks with the like-minded parties.

BJP Goa State Unit Sadanand Shet Tanavade told reporters that the party is open for alliance talks with the like-minded parties, who believe in the welfare of Goa.

Tanavade said that during the recent visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the party discussed about various new political parties entering the state.

He said that the BJP has decided to keep its door open for alliance with the like-minded parties.

When asked whether they would hold meeting with Maharashtrawadi Gomantak party, Tanavade said “we are open for alliance with all the parties who think about welfare of the state, including MGP.”

He said that the like-minded regional parties can come forward for discussion on alliance.

Tanvade said that considering the current political situation, BJP is confident of winning with majority seat during upcoming Assembly election.

“ Considering the political situation, he has confident that BJP will form the government after 2022 election. We will definitely form the government,”he commented.
