Porvorim: Rohan Khaunte hit out at the BJP government over its MLAs taking stand against IIT in Melauli and called it an ‘election appeasement mode’.
In a tweet on Friday, Khaunte stated and questioned, “where was this political fervour until now.”
“@BJP4Goa is in Election Appeasement Mode as one MLA takes side with #Melauli villagers while another offers land in his constituency for #IIT. Where was this political fervour until now? People of #Goa can’t be fooled with such electoral gimmicks!,” Khaunte wrote in his tweet.
