Panaji: State Revenue Minister Atanasio Monserratte on Wednesday shot back at journalists when asked about the Ganja trees being found in Panaji city.
In what could be seen as a display of arrogance, Monserratte said the question that the journalists were asking was “stupid.”
“Have I grown them? You go and find out. Why are you asking? This is a stupid question you are asking. As if I am encouraging growing Ganja and all,” he said in response to the question.
Two plants of Ganja were found in the heart of the city, and they are being investigated by the Anti-Narcotic Cell of Goa Police.
