Amit Shah arrives on one day visit to Goa on Sunday

Panaji: Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah on Sunday arrived in Goa on his one-day-long visit.

 

Shah was welcomed by BJP Goa Election incharge Devendra Fadanavis, Union Minister Shripad Naik, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, BJP President Sadanand Shet Tanavade and others at Dabolim airport.

 

Shah would be visiting Sai Baba Temple at Borim village in South Goa before addressing a public meeting at Ponda in support of the party candidate.

 

A senior BJP functionary said that Shah would be participating in a door to door campaign at Sanvordem constituency after which he would address a public meeting there.

 

Later in the evening, Shah will launch Town Hall meet and launch umbrella campaign at Vasco.

 

BJP has fielded its candidates in all the 40 Assembly constituencies.
