AICC Observer Rajani Patil to arrive in Goa on Tuesday

Panaji: All India Congress Committee Observer and Member of Parliament Rajani Patil will be on two-day-long visit to Goa from Tuesday to get feedback from the party leaders over the poor performance of Congress in Goa polls.

Goa Pradesh Congress Committee Senior Vice President M K Shaikh  on Monday said that Patill wil be arriving on two-day-long visit to Goa on Tuesday.

She has been appointed by Congress President Sonia Gandhi to get feedback from MLAs, other  candidates who lost the election, Pradesh Congress Committee Office Bearers and others regarding debacle of the party in the recently held assembly election, the spokesman said.

Shaikh said that during her two day long visit to Goa, she will hold discussion with Congressmen at North Goa District Congress office on Tuesday between 3.30 to 6.30 p.m.

OnWednesday, she will be at party’s campaign office at Patto in Panaji at 12.30 pm from where she will visit South Goa District Congress office in Margao where she will meet the Congress leaders, he said.

Congress had won on 11 seats in recently held Goa polls which saw BJP emerging as a single largest party after winning on 20 seats. Congress had fought the polls in alliance with Goa Forward Party.
