Quepem: Goa Congress Chief Girish Chodankar learns from his mistake. His close aide Siddhanath Buyao though refuses that it was a mistake. After being caught on camera allegedly for sitting on “ladies only’ seat, Girish is now clicked standing in a bus during ‘Jana, Gana, Mana. Nomon Tuka Goemkara’ tour.

The picture which is making rounds on the social media shows Chodankar along with St Cruz MLA Tony Fernandes, Velim MLA Philip Nery Rodrigues and others standing in the bus. The bus apparently is travelling between Quepem and Curchorem.

The smiling Girish has given a perfect pose for the picture donning a cap on his head and congress muffler in the neck. The picture also shows smiling Tony and Philip.

“There is no question of occupying ladies’ seat. In fact our MLAs and party state president offered their own seats to fellow party workers,” a senior congress leader said.

The leaders including Digambar Kamat and Babu Kavlekar also joined the tour.
