Porvorim: Even four days after his deadline of 8 days given by CM Pramod Sawant is over, the kiosk owners at GMCH are still waiting for their rehabilitation. Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on September 30 had assured the delegation of kiosk owners from GMCH that their rehabilitation issue would be solved in next eight days.
The delegation also comprised St Cruz MLA Tony Fernandes and St Andre MLA Francis Silveira and others. CM had said that within eight days the issue would be resolved.
Subsequently, on October 01, Chief Secretary along with Principal Chief Engineer of PWD had visited the site near GMCH. Gada owners says that they are out of work for last 3 months and are worried of their livelihood and have full faith in the Government and CM Dr pramod Sawant that he will fulfil the assurance given by him.
